The annual pilgrimage to Monterey is ahead and I could not be more excited. The trip starts monday with the haul up the coast to land on the couch at a friends house in the area. Tuesday will be the Classic Motorsports Kickoff show where I will display my 57 Karmann Ghia and don a judges hat to do my duty scrutinizing vintage Porsches. Wednesday its the Little Car Show in Pacific Grove where again I will display the Karmann Ghia and enjoy the day. Thursday and Friday are open for the moment but auctions, car shows and a possibility of riding shotgun in a Duesenberg Indy car on the track at Laguna Seca are all floating around. Saturday is the Concours D Lemons and Sunday of course is the legendary Pebble Beach Concours to which I somehow scored a VIP lodge access pass from a dear friend.
